L.A. County is ground zero for organized retail theft, also known as smash-and-grab robberies.  As your next District Attorney, I will prosecute these criminals to the fullest extent of the law, departing from Gascón’s catch-and-release policies that enable these offenders to repeat their crimes without consequences.

L.A. County needs help to stop this crime wave, which is why Angelenos were puzzled when George Gascón rejected grant money to help combat smash-and-grab crime. As your District Attorney, I will go to Sacramento to secure that money for Los Angeles. I will put it to work to stop these crimes, prosecute criminals, and protect our businesses.
