California faces a steep challenge amid the ongoing rise in hate crimes. But under George Gascón’s leadership, significant vacancies and unfiled cases have decreased morale and effectiveness, leaving these unacceptable crimes unresolved.
However, under my leadership, the District Attorney’s office will take a more proactive and diligent role in addressing hate crimes. Strengthening the D.A.’s office and collaborating well with our law enforcement partners is critical to successfully reducing the prevalence of hate crimes in our communities.
